What kinds of litigation matters does Aman Law Firm handle?
Q: What is "litigation"?
Litigation, in its broadest sense, means a dispute between two or more parties that they have been unable to resolve, which has resulted in one side of the dispute initiating a "complaint" in Court or a "petition" in an arbitration proceeding. The "plaintiff" is the party suing, and the "defendant" is the party being sued. In litigation, the result being sought depends on the nature of the dispute. The desired result is frequently a money judgment against the defendant, or it can be a declaratory ruling or judgment by the Court.
